JROTC Program
The JROTC program is a student led leadership and citizenship program that teaches students character education, student achievement, wellness, leadership and diversity. It is a cooperative effort between the U.S. Army and Andrew P. Hill high school to produce successful students and citizens while fostering a constructive and disciplined learning environment. The outcomes of the JROTC program for students are:
- Act with integrity and personal accountability as they lad others to succeed
- Engage in civic and social concerns in the community, student government and society
- Graduate prepared to excel in post-secondary options and career pathways
- Using sound communication skills, students make decisions that promote positive social, emotional and physical health
- Although we do not recruit for the military, we value the role of all military services and educate and inform any interested student
